Ada has one big advantage ... that she lives in Italy. If I live in Italy, I would be in Pinzolo every year

Ok i ve seen it around 3 times. Few observations after I saw it last night after a bottle of ouzo
Good things:
He has not kept anything from the old choreo except the beginning, the imaginery dance and the end. THANX GOD! this is an actual program for a competition and looks like a tango.

He has added jumps after the half of the program, he can gain a plus of 10% of the marks for jumps that way.

His footworks are amazing, circular has the influence of Petrukov and he will be sweeping the floor which looks exciting, straight is just excellent. I mean plushy footworks are great all but first time I saw this I was at the beach and screamed WOW, my sister when she saw it (she didnt like also the old tango), she was watching without speaking and when he starts his straight footwork she said "ok now, Plush is Back and even better!" I love it. He controls his feet and upper body great and the begining in sexy

Jumps great, he didnt jump 4 combination though...

Bad:
Music cuts and arrangement sounds awful, I think Ada is right, this is cuts of different pieces for the gala, otherwise it doesnt make any sense that mess of music.
He misses transitions and should delete the imaginery dance cause it makes program look empty at the end.
He didnt have enough spins combo. Ok i know this is draft, I m hoping for much more transitions and choreo in between, but this is the best version of tango i ve seen over the year and I m happy he changed it so much.

His footwork is really great (as always)! When I saw this video the first time and he started his footwork I thought: Ok, he so going to (as lexxa said) knock them all dead in Vancouver

I do not know more than you ... but the change of rhythm in choreography (parts of program) is not on the places, where and music changes. I think that this will be Tango fully re-arrangement.




I fully agree with you about good and bad side

I even recognize some moves from Adagio

What I do not like the music, and I hope that will be radically changed - "central slow section" (where the starting circular steps)! After these steps, slow music is too long, droningly boring and almost irritating ... and I am afraid, that such length of the slow part, at the same time will be only "argument" for malicious people to accused Plushy, that he is actually "resting" in the section.


Oh, and if I was not clear - to me is much more like this "version" of Tango ... in fact - a new tendency in choreography which I recognizes, towards a "new" Tango
