... It's a wide-open world championships, but Evgeni Plushenko, Russia's defending Olympic gold medalist who started his comeback in January, confirms the world of figure skating has discovered this quiet kid from Aspen.

"It's going to be (France's Brian) Joubert for sure on the podium, (American Evan) Lysacek and Abbott," Plushenko said. "How? I don't know, but those three guys." ....
